Winter clogs are made to be warm. They are designed for walking across the cold ground in winter. Design features include things like linings, removable innersoles, waterproofing and traction soles. So, if you’re used to slipping on clogs before running outside to get the mail out of the box or to grab the paper, winter clogs will allow you the same freedom and comfort.
Pathways, sidewalks and driveways can get super slick in the winter whether you live in a climate where it snows or not. The thick soles with traction treads on winter clogs are similar to those on the toughest winter snow boots; the soles will grip the surface rather than slide across it.
Most of the winter clogshave some type of lining for warmth. Many also have a removable innersole that has a few different purposes. Of course all clogs have thicker soles than other types of shoes which elevate your feet above muddy wet ground.
